I originally trained in Musical Instrument making and repair working mainly with guitars,after doing this for a few years I moved to working in the ornimental fish industry working in the quarantine department of one of the largest fish importers in the UK.
We moved from Surrey to East Sussex in 2003 to a village called Westfield near Hastings to a smallholding and started keeping chickens,ducks,pigs and grew veg.
I started making knives in 2013 and have been obsessed since that time,spending every spare minute either making knives or researching everything I can so I can make the best knives possible.
I have been improving my workshop over the last 5 years adding machinery and tools to aid in building my knives.
Most of my equipment is designed and built by me to give me exactly what I need during every process of making a perfect knife.
Every part of making my knives from start to finish is done entirely by me including the heat treating which is the most important part of every knife built.

I have spent many hours perfecting the heat treating,blade geometry and the fit and finish processes of making a knife so I can supply my customers with an heirloom quality tool that will be perfectly suited to being out in the field or sitting in a collectors display cabinet.
